Raven
greatly enjoyed the Maine workshop the last weekend of August. He
held an intro on Friday evening. Presented the workshop on Saturday.
And then spoke at the Sunday morning service. 27 people attended
the workshop. They built an 18 foot Unity Peace Wheel at the Unity
Church of Greater Portland, Maine. The workshop concluded with a
powerful meditation connecting the 4 anchor 9 Fires Medicine Wheels
of Peace in North America located in California, British Columbia,
Maine, and Florida. It was one of the hottest days Maine had this
year. And thanks to the energy of the wheel and the meditation the
heat went up even more. Special thanks go to Rev. Judy James for
hosting the workshop at the Unity Church and to Deborah Knighton-Tallarico
of the Spiritual Renaissance Center for making it all happen.
I
heard a song last year called "We All Have a Song" by
a remarkable recording artist named Heather Pierson. The minute
I heard it, I suggested to Raven that it be played for the participants
after every 9 Fires Medicine Wheel of Peace is built. Its a great
song to sing out loud, move your feet to, accompany with drums and
rattles. Jess and I just love it. We were thrilled to have Heather
attend the workshop on Saturday and play her music live for the
participants. She's given us permission to use "We All Have
